Supermarket

I forget what inspired this store. I feel like it might have been from a model train magazine, and it also reminds me of the little market in Monteverde. Jeremiah built the stairs on wheels in front of the store in the middle picture.

Crane

I modeled this crane after a crane in one of Jeremiah's books. The trickiest part was the boom, which actually extends. At first it couldn't hold any weight, but after a little tinkering, it was able to hold up a match box car.

Wagon

Jeremiah and I built this wagon together. Unfortunately, the other two pictures came out blurry. The handle swivels up and down and side to side, like a real wagon handle does. The window and window lock on the back were Jeremiah's idea. He enjoys transporting stuff.

Bug

Jeremiah asked me to make a taxi for him, which means a Volkswagon bug. Jeremiah has never been in a taxi. The only taxi experience he has is a toy VW taxi David gave him after a trip to New York. Jeremiah wanted the lego taxi to be blue.
