David's Aircraft Carrier

This is another of David's creations. As you may have guessed, he's rather fond of military aircraft and paraphernalia. David included space inside for storing airplanes. Jeremiah used this space as a cargo hold.
This pic shows the panel that lifts to help the planes take off.Below, the ship is loaded up with as many aircraft as we could find. According to Jeremiah, the aircraft carrier goes "voo-up, voo-up."

F-14
- David says...
-
Well, the cockpit features two seats, one for the pilot and one for the RIO (radar intercept operator) or the guy who fires the missiles. There is an arrestor hook for aircraft carrier landings and a speed brake between the vertical tails just like the real Tomcat. Unfortunately though, due to my lack of creativity/parts useage this F-14 tomcat does not feature the swing wing function that the real thing has.

Yep, that is the SR-71 alright, or at least my rendition of the famous spyplane. The top-speed has never offically been released, but it can fly over three times the speed of sound and has never been downed over enemy territory. The real airplane flies so fast that the metal in the body expands by a few inches in flight due to atmospheric drag!
