Auto transport car

So, I've never actually seen a train car meant to ship cars, but it is in Richard Scarry's Cars Trucks and Things That Go. At top, the upper platform is being loaded up with cars. Once the upper platform is full it clicks into its upright position (left). After all the cargo is on board, the ramp keeps the cars from falling out.

Chicken Walker

Originally, I tried to build an AT-AT from some old instructions of my brother's, but that proved incredibly tedious. After two days worth of sifting through tons of legos searching for (and not finding) specific pieces, I decided to build the smaller, even more precarious, two legged battle vehicle used by the evil empire. I tried to build this so that it moves just like the ones in the movie. The head can turn side to side and nod up and down. All the leg joints bend, and the guns can aim, too.

There's a storm trooper at the controls.

For some reason, I like this photo. It betrays the unstable nature of this design. No wonder the rebels beat the Empire! So in case having a lego blog was not enough to prove that I'm a total geek, now you know.

Some more of Jeremiah's creations

Jeremiah made this tractor
This one is an airport fire truck. Over the weekend a small jet failed to lift off at our local airport. It wasn't one fire and nobody was injured -thank goodness-, but we saw a firetruck on the site.
This is a space ship.

Concrete Mixing Truck

So this is my latest creation. The cement drum spins and the trough folds and unfolds.
